Beyond the challenges of establishing ambitious low-emission zones, the LNCC wanted to promote a complementary system, that of “school streets”. Nearly 20 departmental committees have been formed to raise awareness among elected officials about this system and to support them in setting up school streets.
The video is made in motion design and arouses two emotions. At first, the spectators are challenged by the impacts of air pollution on health, but without anxiety-provoking effects and by valuing the possibility of acting to be reassured and to be encouraged to act via the setting up of streets school. The transition between the two emotions is humorous.
